Being pedantic this was released on US Motown MT 1067 in October 1964 and on UK Tamla Motown TMG 514 in May 1965.

Another Motown classic from the Detroit or Motown Spinners. I wonder if they were singing about me "Sweet thing" ? Madame Falle nearly choked on her morning coffee when I came out with that one!! Regards. Malc.

A Superb Double Sided Outing ( U.S.A. Issue ) As The Spinners ! , U.k. Re- Issued As " The Motown Spinners " - Because Of The Folk Group From Liverpool .
P.S. TMG 514 So So Collectable Plus We Did Not Have A Clue About The " Marvin Gaye " Version Back Then ? .

I Seem To Play " How Can I " More Often Than " Sweet Thing " These Day's ? , TMG 514 DEMO'S Are Listed As Both The Spinners & Detroit Spinners Whilst The Singles Only List The Spinners ( Only Of Interest To Collectors ) ! . P.S. Mines On MOTOWN 1067 :( .
